Jon Rineman is the host of RINEMAN IN THE MORNING” for TownSquare Media and 102.1 & 105.3 The Shark, where he has interviewed comedians Jay Leno, Paula Poundstone and legendary rock singer Peter Wolf. He is a comedian and writer who has appeared on "THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON," "LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON," "COMICS UNLEASHED" and "GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE." He appears regularly at THE MUSIC HALL LOUNGE in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. From 2014-2018, he was the Head Monologue Writer for “THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON.” From 2009 to 2013, he was a staff writer for "LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON,” where he created the popular recurring bit “Audience Suggestion Box.” While at Fallon, Jon produced or co-produced segments with Larry Bird, Mike Love & Brian Wilson and WWE Superstar Triple H. In addition to writing for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Jon contributed to Seth Meyers’ monologues at the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner and 2011 ESPY Awards. He has performed regularly at the Comedy Cellar in New York and The Comedy Studio in Somerville, MA. In 2021, he served as a producer and advisor for Emerson College’s “ComEx Tonight! with Candace Rosado”, producing interviews with Leslie Jones, Reggie Watts and Bob Saget.

In 2012, Jon and Jimmy Fallon co-wrote the NBC comedy pilot “SLAMMED,” about a struggling professional wrestling promotion. He currently co-hosts the WWE/AEW-Centric Podcast “TURNBUCKLES” with fellow former WWE writer Julie Harrison-Harney and longtime friend Tommy Rico. Jon is a native of North Hampton, NH, is a fan of The Beach Boys, Barenaked Ladies, and the Boston Celtics. He has one daughter. In 2019, he returned to his alma mater, Emerson College, to teach Comedy Writing for Late Night. He also served on the creative team for WWE’s “MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

Jon is currently completing a book of short stories and in 2020, teamed up with some friends from the comedy world to create Anti-Social Skills. On Election Day 2020, Jon participated in a popular Reddit AMA to answer questions about the game, as well as a joke he wrote which was profiled in The Boston Globe. In the Globe, he also detailed the night he watched a 19-inning Red Sox-Yankees gamewith former New York City Mayor and current…whatever he is, Rudy Giuliani.
