This Day in History: June 2

On this day in 2015, FIFA President Sepp Blatter resigned amid a corruption scandal. In addition to his other punishment: going through life with the name Sepp Blatter.

On this day in 1935, Babe Ruth officially retired as the all-time leader in home runs, and he never tested positive for steroids. Every STD, but not steroids. (He had a real bad case of Sepp Blatter.)

On this day in 1954, Joseph McCarthy alleged there are communists in the CIA. That’s ridiculous – reptilians aren’t communists.

On this day in 1968, Bravo’s Andy Cohen was born. And within minutes, each baby girl in the nursery was flipping over their incubator and trying to fight each other.

On this day in 1886, President Grover Cleveland got married to a woman 27 years his junior. Or as Bill Belichick would call her, “an antique.”

Enjoy the present. And remember…The Garden’s Always Greener.
